On Mondays we have Rice & Lentils at the Kindergarten.
Ingredients
1 Cup of Short grain Brown rice
1/2 cup of brown lentils
3 cups of water
Raw vegetables
Olive oil & Tamari (we mix a little tamari with a lot of oil in a jar and shake it well)
Method
Cook the rice and lentils until all the water is gone. Keep the lid on to steam the rice some more.
Serve with olive oil & tamari
Chop up the raw vegetables to have with the rice.
