Some Messy (but sugar rush free) Easter fun with kids

Papier-mâché Easter Egg Craft

This is a good way of keeping children occupied over Easter – it can be a bit messy and hands on, but it’s also good fun and the children love it…and there’s no chocolate sugar rush to deal with!

Here’s how to make the eggs.

Supplies and Directions:

12 papier-mâché eggs
A rainbow of tissue paper (cut into small squares)
The Sunday Comics (cut into small squares)
Mod Podge, or glue
Brushes
Scissors
Using the brush, spread a small amount of Mod Podge onto an egg. Place a piece of tissue paper or newspaper over the glue and press it down with the brush. Continue working this way until the entire egg is covered in paper. Place the eggs on a parchment lined cookie rack to dry.
